The star chart of a Patek Philippe Celestial, close up

Patek Philippe

Patek Philippe made a wristwatch for a Hungarian countess in 1868, and in 1999 it launched the Twenty~4, its first collection only for women. Then Patek went well past shrink and pink. It introduced its new in-house chronograph movement in a women’s watch, the Ladies First Chronograph of 2009, before it used the movement in a men’s watch, and in 2011 it gave women a minute repeater. Patek was one of the first to wind women’s automatic watches with a mini-rotor set into the movement, which keeps them thin. The minute repeater uses one in gold.

I can source any watch, new or used, even very hard-to-get. I chose these examples to guide you.

More about Patek Philippe

The firm took the name Patek Philippe in 1851, and the wristwatch of 1868 went to a Hungarian countess. The Sterns, who bought the company in 1932, had made its dials. Patek built the Henry Graves Supercomplication for an American banker, and the Calibre 89 marked its 150th anniversary with 33 complications.
