The crown side of a Richard Mille RM 11-03 McLaren, close up

Richard Mille

Richard Mille started the brand with Dominique Guenat, whose family firm in the Swiss Jura makes the watches, and their first model came out in 2001. They build tonneau-shaped cases from racing and aerospace materials, made to be worn during sport. They have deals with many professional athletes. Tadej Pogačar rides wearing one in most of his races. Rafael Nadal has played tennis in them since 2010.

I can source any watch, new or used, even very hard-to-get. I chose these examples to guide you.

More about Richard Mille

Richard Mille had headed the watch divisions of Matra and Mauboussin, and the Guenat family firm works in Les Breuleux. Their first model was the RM 001 tourbillon. They build the cases from titanium and composites, and Nadal’s first, the RM 027, weighed less than 20 grams with its strap. The company remains independent, and Audemars Piguet owns a minority stake.
